This picture is soooo oooold, but it was a funny little position that Emmett fell asleep in and I wanted Dusty to see it, too.

This is from when we were staying at my sister's house for two weeks while her and her husband went to Germany for a vacation (that they planned/bought plane tickets for before I even knew I was pregnant. Sad that I was gone while they went!). One day Sadie and Canon were cuddling on the bed (can you say "rare"?) and it was too sweet to pass up on the photo op.

Emmett "helping" me make dinner one night. I know a picture of a baby sleeping probably isn't anything astounding, but Emmett didn't do a whole lot of sleeping for the first couple months of his life, and when he napped, it needed to be documented!

Canon and Sadie has a blast riding bikes outside every day with their cousins. We even went to a bike rodeo at the elementary school and the older kids got new helmets, so Canon inherited Brock's old one. He was in heaven and wore that thing everywhere!

See what I mean? They even needed their helmets to watch TV. How special.

Oh and you better believe that Sadie needed hers to make a Nutella sandwich. That is dangerous business.

Probably hard to see in the poor quality photo, but this is Emmett's first "major" owie, inflicted by his older brother. Two big red bumps on his forehead. Damage was done by the blunt force of Lightning McQueen race car wheels.

Canon and cousin Mayley helping get the foundation ready for a new shed in Grammy and Grandpa's backyard.

A ginormous cement truck came to pour the foundation...I can't believe it got back into the little corner where the shed was being built.

Sadie and I made lots of paper snow flakes to send to daddy for decorating his room. Then Sadie decorated every door in the house. This is her door.

Canon sat on Santa's lap at the ward (church) Christmas breakfast. Sadie said "she already did" (at the other party she and I went to), and refused to sit on this Santa.

Emmett fell asleep like this on Grammy's lap. Out cold.

Jumping in leaves and eating popsicles. With cousins. Good times.

Sweet boy, sleeping on my lap.

This is the first really recognizable picture Sadie has drawn of a person. It isn't the first time attempt, but the first time it has been a head to toe drawing. She drew this on one side of the paper:

And this on the other side. She said one was her and one was Canon, and then later told me they were both just Canon. She has also drawn me with a little Emmett down in the corner. That girl...makes me so proud.

Eating cheerios together on the couch.

Canon got into mommy's mascara. Not a good look for him.

It was even in his mouth...

Canon has been so sick lately, but is finally feeling better. One day not even a popsicle or a doughnut could make him happy. That's serious.

Sadie love Love LOVES to help Grandpa "work" outside. She is one dedicated assistant, picking up every single twig off the ground and putting it into the wheelbarrow. And she must put on her work hat before going outside. Just like Grandpa. One day she planted several rocks in the garden next to Grandpa's garlic.

After working so hard, Grandpa thought she earned a wheelbarrow ride.

Remember how Canon hasn't been feeling well? It turns out he got Fifth Disease, which sounds terrible, but mostly it's a virus that causes a fever, this lacy looking rash along with flaming red cheeks, plus other cold-like symptoms. Here you can see the rash on his arm, but his cheeks were no longer red.

And that's part of our life as seen through the iPod. There are also probably a hundred videos to go along with this, but it would take at least a year to upload them all. No thanks.
