I love this time of year. Most everyone does. On top of all the Christmas cheer, I get to fall in love with Dusty all over again. We went on our first date two days after Christmas, and on New Year's Eve we talked through the night and decided we needed to be together forever. What a crazy, amazing, inspired time in our lives. That was five years ago. Today I have these flowers he sent to remind me that it was the best decision I ever made.
Last night I took Sadie and Emmett with me to a party at a friend's house. Canon was being super tired and grouchy so he went to be early and stayed home with Grandma. Dusty called while we were at the party, and we got to think about how quickly his two week visit is coming up. Sadie had a blast playing with sparklers and celebrated the new year in her skeleton pajamas.

Hopefully I'll get to write a "2011 Review" or a "2012 Resolution" post here soon. For now, I'm going to be happy about the seven posts I just wrote and hope this isn't my new blogging style. Happy New Year!
