2011 and 2012

I wonder if one day I'll send out Christmas cards. It's one of those things that isn't even on my to-do list. I don't usually even feel guilty about it. But when I sat down and thought about it, 2011 was a pretty big year for us! So since you won't be reading any sort of holiday letter written by us, here are some of the "top" moments of our year...

-Living in a hotel for five weeks
- Moving into our house in Germany
- Surprise! We're having a baby.
- Trying on our travel wings (The Netherlands, Poland, Paris, Venice and Verona, Switzerland, Budapest, Vienna, Prague, and of course, Germany)
- Making new friends and visiting old friends who also live in Europe
- Dusty leaving for his year long deployment
- The BIG mold problem in the basement right when Dusty left
- My parents coming to visit us in Germany
- Me and the kids moving back to the States for a while
- Welcoming Emmett to the family

In 2012, we are looking forward to many more adventures. Some of which will include:
- R&R (Dusty's two week vacation)
- Moving back to Germany...YAY!
- Girls trip to Scotland/run a 10K while I'm there
- Welcome Dusty home for good...double YAY!
- Travel, travel, travel (maybe even go on our first cruise)
- Do a race with Dusty (I'm thinking a half marathon)
- Have family visit from the States
- Soak up a real German Christmas for the first time

Oh 2012...I think I'm ready for you. Let the good times keep on rolling.
